| Thanks for your prayers for my cousin Ronnie's wife, Korri and their baby. Unfortunately Korri passed away last Sunday during labor, so I am just asking prayer for her family and my cousin Ronnie and our family. Her funeral was yesterday and it was obviously very sad and everyone is so heartbroken. The baby did survive and she is doing great. She will have to stay in the hospital for a few more weeks, so Ronnie may be able to bring her home right before Christmas. God has a reason for taking Korri, but even as a Christian it is so hard to understand why. Why did she have to die at the age of 29 during what should be the most joyous day of her life and now Bailey Ann will not ever know who her mother was??? I know Korri is not the only person, but its so hard to wrap my mind around the reasoning.
Well that is for now.

| Well its almost Thanksgiving! Hard to believe. We are going to my grandma's house in Columbus. She is a great cook! I am also looking forward to the 4 day weekend! I would like to decorate for Christmas this weekend. It seems everyone has their decorations up already. I was hoping to get a new tree this year (ours is about 12 years old) but when I went looking around last weekend, I couldn't believe the prices! Looks like I will have to wait until after Christmas when they go on sale. I hope there are still some good ones around. We are still doing pretty good. The church is keeping us busy and of course work is as well.
Please pray for my cousin Ronnie's wife Korri. She is almost 7 months pregnant and has preeclampsia. She has been in the hospital 3 weeks and they are wanting to keep her 3 more weeks and then deliver the baby. She is luckily able to work from her hospital room, but she is obviously bored to tears! My aunt had a baby shower for her last week and she had to miss it because she can't leave the hospital. And she is on a strict diet so she can't eat any thanksgiving goodies. They think the baby will survive, preeclampsia is one of the number one causes of killing babies, but when Korri delivers the baby will need to stay in the hospital a while.
Well I need to go for now. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

| Wow! Its fall already! I absolutley love fall! Its my favorite season of the year. I already have my fall decorations up. Ohio is always so beautiful this time a year as well. The trees change so many bright colors. I missed that living in Missouri. The leaves would change, but not as bright as they do here. When Eric and I were dating we would always go for drives in the country just admiring them and we continued that traditon after we were married and now again that we are back and get to share it with Brianna. Anyways not a ton going on here. I did lose my grandpa about a month ago. It was a blessing in disguise because he has been sick for many years and he is finally at peace. I did enjoy seeing alot of my family that I haven't seen in years and catching up. My grandma is seeming to handle things well. She is obviously mourning, but she is now able to do things she hasn't done because of needing to stay near my grandpa. I am a whole year older. I turned 32 Sept. 8. I know age doesn't matter, but I am not really enjoying my birthdays anymore, I like the celebrating, just not the aging. Eric got me 2 dozen red & white roses. They were so beautiful! My parents had us over for dinner and cake. Brianna is in 2nd grade now. I graduated high school with her teacher which is interesting. Luckily we were friends in high school, not enemies. (not that I really had any, but you know what I mean). She was one of my very first friends when I moved to Dayton. We stayed friends until our jr. year and then I went to the vocational school and she stayed at Wayne, so we pretty much lost touch. Eric changed positions at the church so he has weekends off now! Yippee! He went from hospitality coordinator to communications coordinator. Well I better get going. Until next time.... | | |
| Wow! I haven't been to my xanga site in so long, I didn't realize how long ago I blogged. I go through spurts where I like to blog alot (well not lately) but then I go through spurts where I don't even have any desire to. Not much has changed around here. Still getting settled in to the house. It feels more like a home now which is nice. I am pretty much done decorating now its just finding everything. We do have 2 new additions to the family. Oreo and Carmel, our new hamsters. My boss had bought hamsters for her daughters and didn't realize one was male and one was female, until they discovered babies! I had been wanting to get Bri hamsters, but never did, so I thought this was my opportunity. My boss was so glad because there were 7 babies total and I took 2! I am sure she got rid of the rest of them. They are quite entertaining to watch. They fuss like brother and sister. They fight over the wheel, the water bottle, the food, and the houses. We have 2 houses one for each, but they decide they want to fight over the same house. Crazy! Well thats it for now. Say hi if you stop by my blog! Here a couple of pics of Brianna at Micky D's!.
